What is this site?
Toolforge is an ever-growing, centralized hub of essential tools that software developers use daily.
Context switching destroys productivity. When you need to quickly minify a CSS file, format a UUID, or decode a Base64 string, you shouldn't have to sift through Google search results, dodge intrusive pop-up ads, or worry about whether a random website is stealing your proprietary database keys.
We consolidated the most important utilities into a single, cohesive interface. Everything you type is processed entirely on the client side (in your own browser) using modern Web APIs.
Who runs this site?
Toolforge was created by a software engineer who was tired of the existing landscape of online developer tools. I wanted tools that felt like native applications—instantaneous, visually stunning, and uncompromisingly secure.
Hi, I'm the founder of Toolforge. After years of building full-stack applications, I realized how much time I wasted context-switching to use ad-riddled, slow, and privacy-invasive formatting tools. I built Toolforge to solve this problem for myself, and now I'm sharing it with the developer community. You can find me sharing updates and open-source projects on GitHub.
I treat this platform not just as a set of calculators, but as a premium product dedicated entirely to improving the developer experience.
